WOODLEY DOG TRAINING CLUB
Woodley Civic Hall, Near Woodley Precinct, Hyde Road, Woodley, Stockport, SK6 1QG.
Every *first* Tuesday of the month we accept a limited number of new members who will then be integrated into the existing class.
Although we have a monthly intake please do not expect your dog to be fully trained within that month! The training is ongoing and you will be moved up into the next class when you and your dog have reached a certain standard – please read our class standards page. Some members attend for a few weeks to attain the basics and some members stay for years as they enjoy the social aspect of the training.
NB:- We adhere to the once a month intake as taking new members each week disrupts the existing class and also occupies an instructor for a couple of hours. This instructor takes the classes you will be in and therefore cannot do the induction chat other than once a month.
There is a large public car park across the road to the rear of the building. If you use the small car park attached to the building you may become blocked in by other users of the civic hall and they don't leave until 10pm. Please use the rear entrance to the hall as the front entrance is carpeted.
Please poop scoop if your dog has an 'accident' near the hall.
Also, please do not allow male dogs to 'mark' as they enter the building, if one male dog does so then all the other male dogs will try to.
This is an excellent venue and we would not want to upset other users of the hall.
Problems
We are happy to help and advise with general doggie problems. Please don't be shy, just ask one of the Instructors.
Individual Tuition & Home Visits
Individual tuition is available by arrangement for times other than Tuesday evenings.
Problems in the home? Home visits can be arranged.
